Charles Kvapil (born in 1884 and died in 1957  belgian painter ,originally from Czechoslovak )is best known as a painter of figures, particularly for his depictions of buxom nudes.

 He was painting studio models, sometimes in front of his window with Montmartre in the background; often bathers or female nudes placed in groups of characters, like Courbet and the Impressionists in their infancy.
